🕹️ The Console War Rages On

1. Metroid Dread has already been preserved. It runs at 4K60 using the latest builds of Ryujinx and Yuzu. The game is excellent and you should pick up a copy. (Source)
2. Alan Wake Remastered is out. I played/got the original on Steam. I might be looking into this one later on in my backlog. (Epic)
3. Activision-Blizzard continues to do dumb shit - They will be implementing a Kernel-level anti-cheat into Call of Duty Vanguard. I could trust what they say on their site. But its not like they've given me a reason to trust them. (Source)
4. Animal Crossing: New Horizons will release its final free content update - AN:CH v2.0 - will be released on November 5th, 2021. (Source)
5. Animal Crossing: New Horizons will also get its first Paid DLC, Happy Home Paradise - which honestly is a massive expansion and is worth the $24.99. (Source)
6. Nintendo also announced the the new Expansion Pack Tier for Nintendo Switch Online - $49.99 for a year, and $79.99 for the family plan. (Source)

1. As I'm still going through the backlog of TGS 2021, and doing my review of River City girls, River City Girls 2 was announced for a 2022 release. (YouTube)

🎮 Where's My Controller?

1. Still playing through Cyberpunk 2077. After 10 hours I only just realized there is an AMD fix by the computer for improved frame rates. The game is beautiful on high settings - wondrous slideshow really, but blurry on low. Sigh. So far the motorcycle sections are glorious, and I've gotten accustomed to the gun play, and honestly its decent. Its not CoD or Apex but its fun.

1. As I've continued to work on my River City Girls analysis, the main theme song is stuck in my head. 'We're The River City Girls' from the OST is a fantastic jam, that's sure to get you hyped and ready! (YouTube)
